Know which score you are comparing
MovieUniverse displays TMDB community ratings. The top-rated views order the catalog by those values; they are not a live IMDb chart. The source label remains visible on a title page so the number does not become detached from where it came from.
Movies and television can be separated
The sidebar includes top-rated movie and TV links. Each opens Search with a format and rating sort already selected. Adjust the year or genre if you want a more specific group, or clear the filters to see the wider selection.
A number is not a viewing promise
A highly rated film may be slow, demanding or simply outside your taste. A lower-rated comedy can fit a group evening better. Use the score to decide what deserves a closer look, then read the story and check the edition you can watch.
Popular and highly rated are different
Popularity and community rating answer different questions. A prominent release can attract attention without being everybody’s favorite. Changing the sort order is useful precisely because it lets you compare another view of the catalog.
